How many treatments should I expect?
This treatment requires 2 - 4 visits to complete depending on your hair loss. Each visit is separated by 2 weeks. Every session is important to get your treatment looking natural and complete.
Does it hurt?
Sensitivity is different for every individual. We would rate the pain a 4 out of 10. It is a mild feeling and most people fall asleep during the procedure. Since we are only treating the outer layer, scalp micropigmentation is less painful than any traditional tattoo. We all experience pain differently, so certain parts of our scalp may be less sensitive than in other areas.
Are there any side effects?
The most commonly reported side effects are redness and slight itchiness. If you have any questions following your treatment, reach out to your treatment provider and we will be more than happy to assist you
How much does SMP cost?

Our pricing is based on the level of hair loss, which is different for each client. Treatments focused on small areas may range from $1,500 to $2,000 . More extensive procedures may cost between $2,000 and $4,000. We highly recommend booking a free consultation so our team can evaluate your case and provide a personalized price quote based on your hair loss needs.

Does it work for women?

Yes. Covering the scalp with SMP will make your hair look dark and full. Women can expect between 3-5 sessions for best results.

Does it look real?

Yes. When this procedure is done correctly, it will be impossible to know you've had something done. Nobody will know unless you tell them

Aftercare instructions?

During the first 4 days after each session, do not wet or touch your scalp. Do not use any shampoo or products on the scalp. Avoid sweating heavily. After this 4 day period you may return to normal. Wash your scalp with gentle soaps for one month after treatment.

How long is each session?

Each session is approximately 3 to 5 hours. The more hair loss you have, the longer the session will take because there is more area to cover.

Do I need to cut my hair before the SMP treatment?

If we are doing a filler treatment or scar concealment, we typically request our clients to come in with the shortest hair length they are going to keep, unless requested otherwise. If you have class 6 or 7 hair loss, you would need to shave your head before you come in for treatment and maintain it at that length.

How do I best protect my SMP from sunlight?

Overexposure to direct sunlight can cause the pigments to weaken, and overtime you will be damaging both the treatment and your scalp. Wear protective sunscreen or a hat whenever you are going out and expecting to be in direct sunlight for over an hour.
